This year, all volunteers will be required to follow the policies set by the district. The following must be completed before any volunteer can work on campus, in the classroom, or with students: - Pick up a School Volunteer Application from the school office and return the completed form to the Elise Potter/Volunteers mailbox in the school office. It is not neccessary to complete another form if you already have a completed form on file from last year.
- The district requires that volunteers present proof of a TB screen within last 4 years. TB tests are available at:
- Public Health Department.
- Your private medical care provider.
- San Diego City School's Maintenance and Operations Center TB clinic held the first Monday and Wednesday of every month.
- Here at Mason later this month.
- Some of the middle school and high school nurses are at their sites five days a week and may consider doing TB tests, but parents would need to call first and make arrangements with them.
- Wear an ID badge and sign in and out at the office every time they are on campus.
