Hello, families of Mason! It's now the month of October, can you believe it?
I hope you and your child have had a great beginning so far..
Back to School night was a total success. There were a lot of people involving themselves with signing up to the PTA Membership, buying t-shirts, and voting on our school budget. Thank you for participating. While I was at the event I was asked a lot about how to get someone's daugther into Girl Scouts. I didn't have a lot of information for them, but I did mention going to the Girl Scout website. If you're looking for an exciting thing for your daugther to do, then sign her up for Girl Scouts. It really is a great experience for them.
I'm the Leader of my daughters troop. She has had a great time learning about different things that have come along with being a GS.. Right now our troop is involved with "Soldier's Angels"; A foundation for helping our soldiers overseas. We are collecting items such as granola/protein bars, for our Men and Women. More Information about this Foundation is on page 8. Doing community service within our troop is a fantastic reason to be a Girl Scout.
