Fractions

 

  1. Fractions - A simple practice for children first learning fractions. Using fourths, it demonstrates how the colored section is the key to the top number and the total boxes (4) are the key to the bottom number.
  2. Fractions - Identify the fractional part of the pizza. May be too hard for some KKers, but an excellent way to learn the bottom number is the total number of pieces and the top number is the number of pieces left.

Telling Time

  2. Listen and Follow Directions - Spacial Concepts activity. Good whole class activity and then center activity.
  3. Rapid Naming - How fast can you name an object, a letter, a color, a number? Get your hand on the mouse and get ready! Shockwave needed. A letter is named and you must find it and click it with your mouse. This game is excellent for practicing colors, numbers and letters.Beware: This activity goes on for 60 seconds which is a long time for students.

Listening Discrimination

  2. Frog Jump - Player must pair like sounds to allow frog to jump from lily pad to lily pad to reach his home. Shockwave is needed. Click on the word play to start.
  3. Phoneme Match - Students listen to parts of word and use domino game style to match up the same phonemes.
  4. Kasounds - A Simon Game - musical memory game that gets you to copy the sounds you hear.
  5. Memory - In the memory game, listen carefully and find the matching animal sounds. Click on the window to make the animal appear and hear its sound. Click on the other windows to find its match. When you match all of the sounds, play again or go to the next level.
  6. Musical Instrument Match Game - Listen to the sound the instrument makes and match the instrument with the sound.

  1. CVC Machine - Sound out the words and decide if it is a real word.
